The soldier from the 58th Detached Mechanized Infantry Brigade of Ukraine's Armed Forces land forces Stanislav Panchenko was taken prisoner by the militants, who published a video with him, as the 58th Detached Mechanized Infantry Brigade of reported on Facebook.

The representatives of the Armed Forces paid attention to the fact that the video with “confession” was published after Panchenko went missing. This is enough to make the soldier say whatever they want.

“Indeed, Stanislav Panchenko is the soldier of the 58th Detached Mechanized Infantry Brigade of Armed Forces land forces. We stress that probably he was psychologically and even physically forces to say what he said on this video. This is proved by the fact that the video was published on the third day after the soldier went missing,” the message says.

The representatives of the brigade reminded that all the informational materials of the pro-Russian mercenaries are nothing but "elements of the information war."

Earlier, on January 21, the militants published a video with Panchenko where he confesses that he joined the so-called “Donetsk People's Republic” ranks to kill after “he had some vodka with his friends and smoked marijuana.”
