During a combat mission in Chermalyk in Donbas, Ukrainian servicemen discovered an ammunition cache in the basement of one of the local residential buildings. Joint Forces Operation HQ reported it.
"During a combat mission as part of a mobile group in Donbas, National Guard servicemen and Security Service officers discovered a cache," the report reads.
According to the statement, three rocket anti-tank launchers RPG-22, 200 bullets of 5.45 caliber, four TNT bombs, 11 charges for an under-barrel grenade launcher and other ammunition were found in the cache. They were stored in the basement of one of the local residential buildings.
The National Police opened a criminal case under the article "Attempted crime and terrorist act, which poses a danger to human life and health" (Part 2 of Article 15 and Part 1 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As we reported earlier, the workers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have explored 63 hectares of the territory and defused almost 700 explosive objects in Donbas region.
