The 900 millimeter-wide pipeline from Toretsk to Horlivka in the occupied section of Donetsk region is still not operative, as the State Emergency Service workers cannot approach the object due to the combat activity.

People suffer the lack of drinking and technical water in Toretsk, Zalizne, Pivnichne, and Pivdenne. The crews of the local water utility company will be able to repair the pipeline if they have the necessary safety guarantees.

As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, almost 43,000 residents of the said towns are cut off from the centralized water supply mechanism. The mobile water tanks carry the water wherever necessary.
