Increasing activity of Russian aviation and movements of Russian military equipment, for three previous days were reported near the administrative border of Crimea, informed State Border Service speaker Oleh Slododyan.
"Over three last days we are witnessing the increasing activity of Russian aviation in the occupied peninsula near the administrative border. This is not only aircraft, we have seen also helicopters which are continuously guarding the Black sea aquatory. Also we have noticed movements of military equipment near the administrative border. As we know, such actions were conducted in the framework of military trainings of Russian units in the occupied Crimea. Situation in the peninsula can be characterized with high dynamic of actions", stated Oleh Slododyan.
Earlier it was reported that Russia alerted a number of military units stationed in Karachay-Cherkessia, Chechen Republic, Dagestan and in the occupied Crimea. As it was reported by the headquarters of the Southern Military District, military units were raised to check military combat readiness.
