About half of Ukrainians wants occupied Donbas to have autonomy status, - survey

Almost a half of Ukrainians are ready to support the autonomy status for uncontrolled districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions for ceasefire, as the results of the survey conducted by Ukraine’s Institute of Social Research of Oleksandr Yaremenko and “Social monitoring “Ukraine today: Challenges and prospects” show.

20,4% of the respondents are sure they would support the autonomy of ORDLO (Separate Districts of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, - ed.), 29,1% might support this idea.

The survey was conducted on June 13-19, 2019 in the form of a personal interview at the place of residence of the respondent. 3000 people over 18 years old were asked. Standard deviation makes +/- 1,8%.
