About 500 people may have gone missing due to the conflict in Donbas. This was announced at a press conference by the head of the search sector of "Black Tulip" humanitarian mission, Yaroslav Zhilkin, "UNN" reports.

"According to these figures, which we have come up with the SBU joint center, it is about 500 (Missing - Ed.). That is to say, 500 people are missing in total, including civilians, on the territory of the conflict. It can be out front territory, it can be a an uncontrolled territory," Zhilkin said.

At the same time, the exact number of people who are actually missing on the territory of the conflict in the Donbas will be known after the completion of the entire complex of search operations.

It is noteworthy that according to the official data of the monitoring mission of the United Nations on human rights in Ukraine 9 thousand 758 people were killed from the beginning of Anti-terrorist operation and nearly 23 thousand people were injured.
