Appealed to the reports by World Bank, UN, EU, Ukrainian vice-president Hennadii Zubko said that restoration of Donbas will require $1.2 billon. The funds will be allocated for reconstruction of infrastructure, reemployment, social rehabilitation, shelter and settlement for displaced people.
Vise-president informed that UN confirmed the increase of the financial aid to $300 million, but "Ukraine should rely on its own strength. We are looking for opportunities to make budgetary provisions" - said Zubko.
Since the beginning of the conflict, UN provided medical supplies to 2.6 million of the conflict-affected people. 100,000 received food parcels or vouchers, or access to safe drinking water. So far this year some 400,000 have received food, shelter, access to health services, water and sanitation.
