80 tons of humanitarian aid from Red Cross delivered to Donbas residents

The International Committee of the Red Cross delivered foodstuffs with a total weight of 80 tons to residents of the Donetsk region on temporarily uncontrolled territories of Ukraine. This was announced on Saturday, April 15, by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

"Yesterday, through the Novotroitske checkpoint, 4 trucks from the International Committee of the Red Cross transported 80 tons of food to the uncontrolled territories, for the residents of the Donetsk region," the report said.

According to the border guards, as a whole, during the past day, 33.4 thousand people and 5.4 thousand vehicles crossed the border line through the checkpoint.
