70 soldiers of the Forces of special operations died in the Donbas Conflict zone since the beginning of the Russian aggression as 112 Ukraine reported citing Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

 “Unfortunately, 70 our brothers gave their lives for Ukraine. May they forever be remembered! Everlasting glory!,” the president said and people honored the soldiers with a minute of silence.

According to Poroshenko, 294 special forces soldiers got the state awards, another 4 got the title Hero of Ukraine.

As we reported 65 explosions of mines and explosive items occurred in occupied Donbas and in the gray area in 2018, as a result of which 25 military men died.

On January 12, the militants shelled the drone of OSCE SMM near Chermalyk village in Donetsk region. Ukraine's Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) reported this on the Facebook page of the Joint Forces Operation
