The number of victims among civilians in Donbas grew by 50% compared to 2016, as Alexander Hug, Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, stated in a press conference, Ukrinform reports.
“This year we recorded and confirmed more than 320 cases of casualties among civilians. Compared to last year, it’s 50% more,” he said.
Hug noted, that 59 people were killed and more than 260 – injured.
Furthermore, just in Donetsk region ten victims among civilians were confirmed in the last two weeks.
As it was reported earlier, one woman and three children were injured in Maryinka yesterday.
