56 Moldovans who fought in ORDLO ranks revealed

Moldova’s Information and Security Service revealed 56 Moldavian citizens, who fought in Donbas in ORDLO (Separated Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions) ranks, as Ziarul de garda.

According to Daniella Minzat, the Spokesperson of the Information and Security Service, 18 citizens out of 56 are detained as of today, 15 – already convicted.

“According to unofficial data, two Moldavians were convicted in Ukraine,” Minzat stated.

She added, that the citizens, who fought on the militants’ side in Donbas, are convicted under the article on mercenaries in Moldova and on terrorism in Ukraine.

It was reported that around 70% of Moldavian mercenaries, who fought in Donbas, were born and raised in socially challenged families and are unemployed.
