Situation in ATO zone remains tense, Russia-backed terrorist forces are escalating the conflict. The number of enemy shelling reached 55. Enemy uses artillery more often, while it is strictly prohibited by Minsk agreement. Four Ukrainian military officers got wounded as a result of shelling over the last 24 hours. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.
In Mariupol direction, militants conducted 26 attacks. Banned 120 mm mortars were used near Shyrokyne and Hnutove. Strongholds near Shyrokyne and Berdianske were also shelled with 122 mm artillery. Beyond that, enemy fired grenade launchers and small arms at ATO positions near Vodiane, Pavlopil, Novohryhorivka and a number of settlements. Illegal armed groups used 82 mm mortars and small arms to attack Marinka and Krasnohorivka. One projectile hit residential area in Krasnohorivka. Fortunately, there were no damages or injured civilians.
In Donetsk direction, militants attacked Ukrainian defenders 16 times. The toughest situations was in Avdiivka. Russia-backed forces used 120 and 82 mm mortars, small arms and grenade launchers here. Enemy fired 82 mm mortars and small arms at strongholds near Verkhnyotoretske. Once again, illegal armed groups fired IFV weaponry and heavy machine guns at positions near Svitlodarsk arc.
In Luhansk direction, 13 ceasefire violations by the enemy were recorded in this part of the frontline, including the use of heavy artillery and multiple rocket launcher systems. Thus, illegal armed groups shelled ATO forces near Troitske using Grad multiple rocket launcher, 152 and 122 mm artillery systems. 122 mm tube artillery was also fired at Ukrainian positions near Novooleksandrivka. 120 and 82 mm mortars were used to attack Novozvanivka and Popasna. Enemy fire from small arms and grenade launchers was also registered near Valuyske, Krymske and Stanytsia Luhanska.
