504 explosives defused in Donbas over week

Over the week Ukrainian sappers neutralized 504 explosive items in Donbas conflict zone. This was reported by the Joint Forces Operation headquarters on Facebook.

The rescue brigades were involved in the survey and clearance of territories 75 times, the report said.

Since the beginning of the Joint Forces Operation, sappers examined 5,764 hectares of the territory and 16.3 hectares of the water area. At the same time, they managed to neutralize 23,179 explosive devices.

Ukraine's key priorities in foreign policy are solution of Donbas conflict and the return of Crimea. Vadym Prystaiko, the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Ukraine said this during the first plenary meeting of the new Ukrainian Parliament on Thursday evening.

He added that the priorities concerning Ukraine's EU and NATO aspirations remain unchanged. 

"We need coordinated efforts, internal investments, activizaion of human resources for setting post-industrial production and the rapid increase of export. We need peace and stability - something that the war is stealing from us", Prystaiko said.
