5 attacks on Ukrainian positions reported in Donbas over day

Militants continue violating the cease-fire, but the situation is relatively calm since midnight

The situation in the Donbas conflict zone is relatively calm today. Since midnight, five attacks on Ukrainian positions were reported, two of which were untargeted, as the Ukrainian Army HQ informs.

In Mariupol sector, the Russia-backed terrorists attacked Ukrainian positions from small arms and a grenade launcher near Starohnativka and Vodiane; the attacks were untargeted.

In Donetsk sector, the enemy opened fire from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on Ukrainian strongholds near Avdiivka. At almost the same time, Ukrainian soldiers near Opytne were attacked with heavy machine guns.

In Luhansk sector, 82-mm mines were fired near Donets station.

Ukrainian Army complied with the cease-fire regime and didn’t open return fire.

As it was reported earlier, no fatalities among Ukrainian servicemen happened in Donbas over 24 hours.
