41 attacks reported in ATO zone, two Ukrainian soldiers wounded

Situation in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone remains tense. Russia-backed occupation forces attacked Ukrainian positions 41 times over past day. Two Ukrainian servicemen got wounded as a result. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

In Mariupol direction, strongholds near Novotroitske were attacked from 120 mm mortars. Enemy fired tanks, 82 mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns at Marinka. Vodiane and Hnutove were attacked with grenade launchers and firearms, while anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns were fired near Lebedynske. Enemy also used small arms to attack Shyrokyne. Snipers were active near Lebedynske and Marinka.

In Donetsk direction, enemy shelled positions in Troitske with 120 and 82 mm mortars. 82 mm mortars were used near Kamianka. Militants fired IFV weaponry, automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns at Pisky defenders. Avdiivka, Butivka mine and Zaytseve were attacked with grenade launchers of various types and heavy machine guns, while positions near Nevelske were attacked with small arms. Enemy snipers were active near Butivka mine.

In Luhansk direction, enemy attacked strongholds near Krymske using automatic grenade launchers, 120 and 82 mm mortars. Grenade launchers of various types and small arms were fired at positions near Stanytsia Luhanska and Zhovte. 

In order to suppress enemy activity during shelling of Zhovte settlement, Ukrainian soldiers returned fire using small arms.
