The situation in the Donbas conflict zone escalated as the militants use Minsk-banned tanks, mortars, the Ukrainian Army HQ informs.

In Luhansk sector, the enemy launched multiple attacks from 82, 120-mm mortars near Luhanske, Troitske, Novooleksandrivka, Krymske, and Triokhzebinka. Over 110 mines exploded near these villages. In the afternoon, the enemy opened fire from grenade launchers and machine guns near Travneve and Novoluhanske.

In Donetsk sector, the occupants opened fire from mortars of different calibre and a tank near Hnutove. Near Avdiivka and Verkhniotoretske, mortars and infantry armament were used. Militants also fired from grenade launchers and small arms near Kamianka, Starohnativka, and Hranitne.

The Ukrainian Army opened return fire to 22 of 31 attacks. Four Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the militant shelling.
