In Donetsk, a 9-year-old boy was killed after an ammunition explosion

Since the beginning of the year, 39 children have been killed or injured in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in occupied Donbas. This was stated at the briefing by the first deputy head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, Alexander Hug.

He noted that in 2017 in the armed conflict zone, 39 children were killed or injured. The last case of the child's death was recorded in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk on November 6, where a 9-year-old child was blown up on a shell. Another two children were injured as a result of the rupture of the ammunition.

"In the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a 9-year-old boy died and another two children were injured as a result of a shell explosion in the playground. A 31-year-old woman also was wounded, "the report said.

As it was reported earlier Iryna Gerashchenko, the first deputy speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup in Minsk said OSCE is applying the blind eye tactics towards the presence of the Russian soldiers in Donbas.
