“In Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as of today, the death of 34 children and wounding of about 100 children were established. 18 children received permanent disabilities. In fact, the children of war – is a very tragic and painful issue that we consider within our coordination with law enforcement bodies. According to official information, over 33,000 children has the status of victims,” the message said.
It is reported that about 37,000 children live at the contact line.
Since late May 7 till the evening of May 9, OSCE Special Monitoring Mission reported 186 violations of the ceasefire in Donbas combat area. In Donetsk region, the SMM registered 163 violations of the ceasefire, including 105 explosions. In Luhansk region, the Mission registered 23 violations of ceasefire, including 15 explosions of unidentified origin. Most of the violations took place near Zolote, Popasna and Kadiivka.
