Since January, OSCE special monitoring mission reported 330 cases of injuries among civilians in the combat area in Donbas. The overall number of peaceful residents who suffered injuries or deceased in combat has increased by 50 percent compared to the previous year’s numbers. ‘Most of these 330 victims were either wounded or killed by shrapnel. In order to illustrate the entire graveness of this situation, I’ll give you one particular example: there’s a more than 50-percent increase in the number of civilians who suffered consequences of the attacks, compared with the last year’s numbers,’ he said.
