2911 Ukrainian soldiers died since the beginning of combat actions in Donbas, as the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said in the speech at Lviv Philarmonic. 112 Ukraine broadcasted it.

“2911 Ukrainian heroes lost their lives on the frontline for our right to choose. Therefore, we will act decisively, persistently, courageously,” Poroshenko said.

In early June, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated that around 240 children died since the Donbas conflict began.

Earlier, the UN report says that almost 3,000 civilians died in eastern Ukraine since the war began. 298 people who died in MH14 tragedy in 2014 were taken into account.
