Operative situation in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone remains tense. Despite the relative decrease of enemy shelling, adherence to shaky ceasefire still does not exist. Russia-backed terrorist groups attacked Ukrainian positions along delimitation line 26 times over past day. At the same time, occupants were using weaponry banned by Minsk agreement. Unfortunately, two Ukrainian military officers were killed as a result of hostilities in the last 24 hours. One officer got wounded, two more injured in combat. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.
In Mariupol direction, occupants fired at the units of Ukrainian Armed Forces near Shyrokyne and Pavlopil, using 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various modifications, heavy machine guns and small arms. 7 enemy provocations were recorded in this area overall.
In Donetsk direction, Russia-backed groups attacked strongholds near Avdiivka from small arms and heavy machine guns. Same weaponry and anti-tank grenade launchers were fired near Verkhnyotoretske. Enemy sniper worked in Nevelske. Invaders fired 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms of various calibers at Kamianka. Ukrainian strongholds near Avdiivka also suffered fire from grenade launchers of various modifications and heavy machine guns late at night. Enemy used anti-tank missile complex there. 8 enemy attacks were recorded in general.
In Luhansk direction, illegal armed groups conducted most of the attacks, shelling Ukrainian positions 11 times. Banned weapons were repeatedly used. 120 mm mortars were fired at Katerynivka. 120 and 82 mm mortars 100 mm artillery was used to attack positions near Troitske. Beyond that, ceasefire violations were recorded in Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Novooleksandrivka and Novozvanivka, where occupants most used various infantry weapons and fired IFV.
