The militants performed 32 attacks at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past 24 hours, four of which from the heavy weapon. As a result, three Ukrainian soldiers dies, three more were injured, as it is reported on JFO HQ Facebook page.
“Over the past 24 hours on June 27 the situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone was under control…The Russian occupation troops opened adjusted fire 32 times, four of which – from heavy weapons. The Joint Forces units were conducting active defence and have an adequate response to the enemy…As a result of such active battle actions, three Ukrainian soldiers died and three were injured,” the message says.
Besides, it is noted that according to the JFP HQ, the militants activated the combat actions and mostly used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms firing at the Armed Forces positions. The attacks from infantry fighting vehicles were recorded in separate directions. The defender of Marinka, Avdiivka, Pivdenne, Opytne and Novomykhailivka were under the adjusted fire.
“Over the past 24 hours, the mostly the defenders in Mariupol sectors were under the fire. The enemy used 122-mm artillery, 120-mm mortar launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and anti-tank guided missiles. Our positions near Lebedynske, Vodyane, Hnutove, Talakivka, Starohnativka, Pavlopil, Bohdanivka and Shyrokyne came under the fire,” the message stresses.
Additionally, the enemy was cynically shooting at Zalizne from 82-mm mortar launchers. Two civilians were wounded as a result.
“During the past 24 hours, Russian occupation troops opened fire at our defenders seven times. In Donetsk sector, the enemy shot at our positions near Marinka from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns, near Vodyane, Lebedynske, Shyrokyne and Hnutove- from the light anti-tank weapon and small arms,” the message concludes.
It should be mentioned that according to the intelligence, ten militants were eliminated and seven injured over the past 24 hours.
Earlier, the Trilateral Contact Group agreed on the ceasefire in Donbas since July 1, 2018 due to the start of the harvest season.
