The situation in Donbas conflict zone remained under control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past 24 hours on June 6. The militants have opened fire at the Ukrainian positions seven times. No casualties among the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported this on Facebook.

“The enemy violated the ceasefire seven times, one of which – using Minsk-banned weapons. Russian terrorist troops used prevocational attacks in Donets and Mariupol sectors,” the message says.

The battle actions were conducted near Krymske, Marinka, Hnutove, Pavlopil and Shyrokyne. The militants opened fire from 120- and 82-mm mortar launchers near Opytne.

Earlier, we reported that Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, had a telephone conversation with Justin Trudeau, the PM of Canada, and discussed the deployment of the UN peacekeeping mission in Donbas. 

Poroshenko has informed about the current state in Donbas and Moscow’s provocations to create tensions on the Sea of Azov. The interlocutors have coordinated the positions before the G7 summit.
