24 hours in JFO zone: Militants apply Grad

Today, the militants opened fire three times near Svitlodarsk, Pavlopil and Vodyane.

Over the past 24 hours on August 15, illegal armed formations opened fired 43 times, six of which – from Minsk-banned weaponry, as the JFO HQ reports.

“The attacks were conducted at the defenders of Krymske, Novozvanivka, Svitlodarsk, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Mayorsk, Marinka, Avdiivka, Opytne, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Novotroitske, Novomykhailivka, Kamyanka, Chermalyk, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Vodyane and Shyrokyne. Moreover, the enemy shot near Svitlodarsk and Hnutove from 120-mm mortars and near Krymske, Luhanske and Hnutove – from 82-mm mortars,” the message says.

The Joint Forces recorded a provocation in disengagement area in Stanytsia Luhanska. The enemy used small arms there.

Today, the militants opened fire three times near Svitlodarsk, Pavlopil and Vodyane.

“It should be noted that this night the enemy has applied Grad multiple-launch rocket systems for the first time in a couple of months. Missile explosions were recorded near Svitlodarsk. The enemy has also opened fire from 120-mm mortars. No casualties among the Joint Forces military reported,” the message says.

According to the Ukrainians intelligence, two ORDLO (Separated Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, - ed.) representatives died, three more were wounded.
