Russian occupants used Minsk-banned mortars on several occasions

On March 24, Russian armed mercenaries attacked the outposts of Ukrainian troops in Donbas three times; two Ukrainian defenders were wounded due to the attacks that took place on early Monday, the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported on Facebook.

The enemy used weaponry banned by Minsk agreements, specifically 82 and 120 mm mortars. 38 mines hit the Ukrainian positions in total.

All attacks occurred in Luhansk region. In Novoluhanske, the occupants fired small arms and 82 mm mortars; near Popasna, they also used mortars and IFVs to shell the emplacements of the Ukrainian military

An enemy sniper opened fire near Luhanske. In the vicinities of Novotoshkivske, the occupants fired heavy machine guns and small arms. This is where the Ukrainian solders sustained combat wounds.
