24 hours in Donbas: Two Ukrainian servicemen killed, three wounded

Government forces also inflicted losses among enemy ranks; three militants were killed, another two sustained injuries

Since morning May 7, militants of the illegal armed formations shelled the Ukrainian positions in Donbas 25 times. Two fighters of the government forces lost their lives in action, and three more were wounded. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Facebook.

'May 7, the armed formations of the Russian Federation (...) used Minsk-banned 122 mm artillery systems, tank guns and 82 and 120 mm mortars', reads the message. 

The enemy also used IFVs, anti-tank missile launchers, heavy machine guns, automatic weaponry and sniper rifles.

In Donetsk region, the Russian occupants attacked positions of the Joint Forces 14 times. Skirmishes occurred in Novotroitske, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Mykolaivka, Hnutove, Nevelske, Starohnativka, Novoselivka II, Lebedynske and Bohdanivka.

In Luhansk region, the enemy attacked Novozvanivka, Popasna, Katerynivka, Vilny farmstead, Pivdenne and Stanytsia Luhanska. In the latter case, the Ukrainian troops did not return fire to a provocative attack.
