24 hours in Donbas: Two Ukrainian servicemen injured during hostilities

Two warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were injured during hostilities in the Joint Forces Operation zone on September 28. The press office of the JFO HQ reported this on Facebook. 

‘During the day, from 7 a.m. through 6 p.m., Russian occupation forces violated ceasefire regime 13 times. Yet, the enemy used weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements two times. Two servicemen of the joint Forces were injured today, during hostilities,’ reads the report.

 In case of threat of life, the commanders adopt decisions on carrying out a fire impact on the enemy in order to force him to stop the firing.  

The enemy was opening aimed fire from mortars, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, anti-aircraft installations, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms at the positions of the Joint Forces in the areas of the settlements Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote-4, Zolote, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Marinka, Hruntove, Vodiane and Lebedinske.

The militants shelled the strongholds near Novoluhanske and Hruntove from 82mm mortar. Also, the enemy opened heavy fire at the defenders of Hruntove and Zolote from ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft installations. The JFO positions near Hruntove and Krymske were shelled from weapons of IFV.
