On August 11, Russian armed mercenaries attacked positions of Ukrainian troops eight times. According to Ukraine's Defense Ministry, they did not use any of the Minsk-banned weaponry over the said period.
In Starohnativka, Vodyane, and Novotroitske, the enemy fired anti-tank grenade launchers. Various kinds of grenade launchers were also used near Pavlopol and Hnutove.
Three attacks were observed in the Luhansk region. In Krymske, the invaders fired small arms; in Mayorske, they opened fire from grenade launchers, small arms and heavy machine guns. In Zolote-4, small arms and heavy machine-gun fire was reported.
One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in action.
Earlier we reported that Defenders' March with the participation of veterans will be held instead of a military parade on the Independence Day of Ukraine. The ceremony starts on August 24 at 9:30 near the memorial cross for the Heroes of Heavenly Hundred.
