Over the last 24 hours, pro-Kremlin militants fired on Ukrainian positions in Donbas four times. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Friday morning, adding that the enemy used weaponry of banned calibers.
One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in action.
The mercenaries attacked the positions near Krasnohorivka (Donetsk region), using heavy machine guns.
In Orikhove (Luhansk region), the enemy violated the ceasefire, too, using 120 mm mortars. Grenade launchers and small arms were used in the attacks on Novoluhanske.
Earlier, workers of the Office of Prosecutor General informed a Ukrainian citizen of suspicion of the membership of an illegal armed unit of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic. Another charge was the violent treatment of civilian captives and POWs. The press department of the Office of Prosecutor General reported that on February 6. The investigation team found out that the man threatened to kill unarmed people putting a gun against their heads; he beat them up, simulated an execution through shooting and held the prisoners in inhumane conditions. The defendant served with the so-called Ministry of State Security of the "DNR". Besides, the investigation claims that the man tortured the captured fighters of the National Guard of Ukraine.
