Over the past 24 hours, Russian militants opened fire in the combat area in Donbas 21 times. Due to that, one Ukrainian fighter deceased and another two sustained combat injuries. The press service of the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Wednesday morning.
'The enemy landed attacks on our forces 21 times. No heavy weaponry was used. One of our servicemen perished because of the enemy fire; two more were wounded', the message says.
The HQ specified that the enemy's activity is observed in all sectors of the combat area. Ukrainian positions in Krymske, Orikhove, Novoluhanske, Zalizne, Avdiivka, Kamyanka, Pisky, Vodyane, Hnutove, Shyrokyne, Talakivka and Pishchevik took fire.
'According to the intelligence, three occupants were killed and three more wounded', the message reads on.
Since early hours of Wednesday, pro-Kremlin mercenaries opened fire from 82-mm mortars three times; the fire was reported near Troitske, Svitlodarsk, Luhanske, Avdiivka, Vodyane and Lebedynske.
