Since the morning of September 11, pro-Kremlin militants attacked positions of the Ukrainian military 33 times. The intense military actions led to casualties, as four servicemen of the government troops were wounded; one of them deceased. The HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported that on Facebook.
The enemy has twice used Minsk-banned weapons; specifically, the illegal armed gangs used 82 and 120 mm mortars to shell the Ukrainian positions in Vodyane and Shyrokyne. The attacks were also observed in the areas of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Zolote, Katerynivka, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Mayorske, Shumy, Kamyanka, Pisky, Mariinka, Starohnativka, Pavlopol, Hnutove, Vodyane and Shyrokyne.
Hostile troops landed the adjusted fire, using grenade launchers, heavy machineguns and small arms. Several outposts near Krymske came under fire from enemy IFVs.
The Ukrainian intelligence reported that over the mentioned period, two militants were killed and five more sustained combat wounds.
Since the beginning of Wednesday, the Ukrainian forces have taken no casualties in Donbas.
