The militants performed 24 attacks over the past 24 hours on August 22 using heavy weapons in particular. As a result, one Ukrainian soldier was injured, as the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported on Facebook.
“Russian occupation troops conducted adjusted fire from ICV, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, and in separate sectors – from 82- and 120-mm mortars, 122-mm tube artillery,” the message says.
The attacks were documented near Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Katerynivka, Opytne, Pisky, Marinka, Starohnativka, Hnutove, Pavlopil, Lebedynske and Vodyane.
“The occupants shot at our positions near Hnutove from 122-mm artillery. The enemy has also used 120-mm mortars near Krymske and 82-mm mortars near Pisky,” the representatives of the HQ added.
One Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
Today, on August 23 the militants fired from artillery, mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms near Novotoshkivske, Krymske, Starohnativka and Vodyane.
One soldier died today.
