24 hours in Donbas: Militants shell Ukrainian militaries in Donbas eight times

No casualties among the servicemen of the Joint Forces were observed

Over the last 24 hours, from 7 a.m. through 6 p.m., the militants violated ceasefire regime eight times in the Joint Forces Operation zone. The press office of the JFO HQ reported this on Facebook.

‘No casualties among the Joint Forces servicemen over the day were recorded,’ reads the message.

The militants used weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements during the shelling.

‘In the afternoon, the rival was opening aimed fire from grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms at the positions of the Joint Forces in the areas of settlements Krymske, Zaitseve, Pisky, Marinka, Hruntove, Vodiane, and Lebedinske. The Russian occupants also used 82mm mortars against the strongholds of our forces near Hruntove,’ the HQ reports.

‘In the case of threat of life, the commanders were adopting decisions on carrying out a fire impact on the enemy in order to force them to stop the firing,' reads the message.

As it was reported earlier, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine confirmed the information on the three injured militaries in the JFO zone over the last day.
