In the last 24 hours militants shelled positions of the Ukrainian army in Donbas 18 times, according to ATO Headquarters.

“Overall in the last 24 hours the militia broke the cease-fire 18 times. In the most threatening cases the Ukrainian army used return fire, using heavy machine guns and grenade launchers,” the message informs.

It is noted that on Luhansk front after 6 pm, the separatists shelled Ukrainian positions near Novozvanovka, Zhovte, Novotoshkovkse, Krymske using small arms and grenade launchers.

On Donetsk front at 8 and 8:30 pm, militants shelled the Ukrainian army near Avdiivka with 120 and 82-millimiter mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. With return fire our soldiers succeeded in stopping the separatists. Militia also used grenade launchers near Butovka mine, and an ICV shelled Luhanske.

On Mariupol front at 8 and 10 pm, Ukrainian army in Krasnohorivka was shelled.
