24 hours in Donbas: Militants shell JFO positions three times

During the day on Monday, since 7 a.m. till 6 p.m., militants in Donbas violated ceasefire regime three times, none of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine injured. The press office of the JFO HQ reported this on Facebook.

‘The rival carried out aimed fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. The enemy didn’t use the prohibited by the Minsk Agreements weapons,’ reads the message.

During the day, the Ukrainian positions were shelled in the areas of the settlements: Krymske, Shumy, and Vodiane.

‘In case of a threat to the life of servicemen, commanders adopted a decision to implement the firepower effect. No casualties among the military personnel of the Joint Forces during the shelling reported. The situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation remains under control,’ reads the message.

Reportedly, during the previous day, on September 2, the illegal armed groups of Russian militants attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas 16 times. Eight Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in combat; half of them only got minor injuries.
