24 hours in Donbas: Five Ukrainian soldiers wounded

On July 9, five Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in Donbas conflict zone. The Russian occupant forces shelled the government troops' emplacements 12 times, the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.

The enemy used Minsk-banned 122 mm artillery and 82 mm mortars. IFV armament, grenade launchers, heavy machineguns and small arms were used, too.

Shyrokyne, Lomakyne, Vodyane, Novomykhailivka and Pisky came under fire in Donetsk region; in Luhansk region, the occupants attacked Travneve, Novoluhanske and Zaitsevo.

Seven houses were destroyed in Katerynivka because of the shelling by pro-Kremlin mercenaries

Previously, the Joint Forces Operation HQ warned civilians of the possible increase of a number of explosions in the Donbas combat zone; this is due to the density of landmines planted in the area.
