Militants performed 33 attacks at the Armed Forces positions in Donbas conflict zone over the past 24 hours using Minsk-banned weapons. Four Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, one soldier got battle trauma, as Donbas conflict HQ press-office reported on Facebook.
“The aggressor attacked from multiple artillery rocket system, 152-mm artillery, 120-mm mortar launchers and tank armament our defense works near Novoluhanske. The occupants used 120- and 82-mm mortar launchers near Troitske,” the message says.
According to HQ information, the militants were firing from 120-mm mortar launchers, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns at the defenders of Novozvanivka and from 120-mm mortar launchers near Luhanske. They used 82-mm mortar launchers, grenade launchers and infantry fighting vehicles near Novosylivka.
The enemy was firing from banned 120-mm mortar and grenade launchers at our positions near Verkhnyotoretske, Butivka mine and Vodyane.
“The occupants opened fire from 82-mm mortar launchers, various grenade launchers and small arms at the defenders of Avdiivka and Butivka mine, from infantry fighting vehicles – near Talakivka and Bohdanivka, from heavy machine guns – near Pavlopil, Hnutove, Slavne and Krasnohorivka, from small arms – at the defenders of Shyrokyne,” the HQ reported.
Besides, the illegally armed formations used antitank missile system near Talakivka and sniper’s fire – near Hnutove.
As a result of the attacks, four Ukrainian soldiers were injured. One Ukrainian defender got a battle trauma. The injured people were taken to the hospital where they have received medical assistance.
According to the Defence Ministry, the militants have performed 64 attacks over the past 24 hours.
Seven Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, two more got battle traumas. Two Ukrainian defenders were injured during the execution of engineering support works as a result of an explosion of unidentified explosive devices. All the injured were evacuated to the hospitals. Two of them are in a critical condition and two more are in an intermediate severity condition, other six are in a satisfactory condition.
