The militants attacked the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 18 times, including one time from heavy armament over the past 24 hours on August 29. No casualties among the Ukrainian soldiers reported, as the Joint Forces Operation headquarters reported on Facebook.
“Russian occupants opened fire at our positions 18 times, including one time from Minsk-banned weapons. The enemy performed adjusted fire from 82-mm mortar, heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms… No casualties among the Joint Forces reported,” the report says.
The attacks were performed near Stanytsa Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troitske, Svitlodarsk, Pivdenne, Novhorodske, Novomykhailivka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Talakivka, Lebedynske and Vodyane.
The militants used mortars near Novhorodske in Horlivka sector.
“Today the enemy shot one time near Luhanske from a rocket-propelled grenade. In general, the intensity of the attacks at the positions of the Joint Forces has decreased, though the enemy does not obligate the “school ceasefire” fully,” the message says.
As it was reported, OSCE SMM documented more than 70 violations from the beginning of the “school ceasefire” in Donbas.
Earlier, according to the agreements of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, a “school ceasefire” began since the midnight of August 29 in Donbas.
