24 hours in Donbas: 14 shellings, 1 Ukrainian soldier dead, 7 injured

The situation in Donbas has one again escalated. From 6 pm to midnight the militants increased shelling

In the last 24 hours the militants in Donbas broke the cease-fire 14 times. The Ukrainian army opened fire 11 times. One Ukrainian soldier was killed in action, another seven were injured, as the ATO HQ reports on their Facebook page.

“The most active action was taken by the enemy on Donetsk front. The separatists used grenade launchers, mortars, and heavy machine guns two times near Avdiivka and Kamianka. The enemy also used grenade launchers and small arms to shell the Ukrainian troops near Pisky and Butovka mine. Our soldiers opened heavy return fire to each of the attacks, using force to make the criminals comply with the cease-fire” the message informs.

On Luhansk front, the militia shelled with heavy machine guns at the Ukrainian stronghold near Stanytsa Luhanska. And around midnight an enemy ICV was shelling Novozvanovka.

On Mariupol front, for almost an hour the militants shelled the Ukrainian troops in Bohdanovka with small arms.

As it was reported earlier, yesterday evening the situation in Donbas escalated
