24 hours in Donbas: 14 ceasefire violations, one Ukrainian serviceman wounded

The militants opened fire 14 times in Donbas during the day on Monday, August 13. Heavy weapons were used five times. One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded as a result of the hostilities. The press office of JFO reports on their page on Facebook.   

In particular, the usage of mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms was recorded in the areas of Krymske, Novotraitske, Bohdanivka, Troitske, Novozvanivka, Novoluhanske, Lebedynske and Hnutove.

‘Along with this, the enemy shelled the defenders of Novotoshkivske from 122mm artillery systems, defenders of Troitske and Novozvanivka from 82mm mortars, and the positions near Bohdanivka from 120mm mortars. Also, the enemy used ICV weapons and anti-tank missile systems in different directions,’ reads the message.

As a result of the hostilities, one Ukrainian serviceman was wounded.
