Over the past 24 hours, on October 1, the militants opened fire at the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 21 times. No casualties reported, as the Joint Forces Operation HQ informed on Facebook.

“The occupants performed 21 attacks at our positions, including four times from Minsk-banned weapons. The enemy shot at our positions near Krymske, Novozvanivka, Luhanske, Zaitseve, Pisky, Krasnodarivka, Novomykhaylivka, Novotroitske, Starohnativka, Hnutove, Vodyane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne,” the message says.

Russian occupation troops launched adjusted fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. The enemy has attacked the positions of the Joint Forces Operation with 120mm and 82mm mortars and the strongholds near Luhanske with infantry fighting vehicle.

No casualties among the Ukrainian soldiers reported. According to the intelligence, four militants were eliminated and six were injured over the past 24 hours.

“Also, the Russian occupants performed attacks at Vodyane cynically violating any rules of warfare and norms of the general morality. The enemy shot at the residential sector of this village in Pryazovia from 122mm artillery, 82mm, and 120mm mortars, using 31 artillery shells and 16 mines. Russian militants did not perform attack at the positions of the Armed Forces, but at the residential area of the settlement. The Joint Centre on Control and Coordination along with the OSCE SMM are determining the consequences of this crime,” the HQ informed.
