April 15, 20-year-old soldier-volunteer and paramedic Mykola Volkov from Mariupol died in the Mechnykov hospital in Dnipro. Yana Zinkevych, the head of battalion Hospitallers, posted this on Facebook.
According to the report, the soldier died from the shot in the head. Mykola Volkov had been in a coma several days and then perished.
According to Zinkevych, Mykola Volkov had nickname Smurf, he served in the battalion Hospitallers and was a soldier of the eights battalion Aratta of the Ukrainian volunteer army.
Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in Donbas on April 10, the sniper bullet injured the big part of his brain. The doctors were assessing his condition as a serious one.
Mykola Volkov served in the Donbas conflict zone since July 2018, and since autumn, he was performing duties of the paramedic-volunteer.
Earlier, on April 14, Russian armed mercenaries landed 10 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas. In one case, they used Minsk-banned weaponry.
The enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders, using anti-tank missile launchers, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machineguns and small arms.
