Oleksandr Zakharchenko, the Head of the militants of the so-called ‘Donetsk People’s Republic’ claimed that 15 ‘agents’ of the Security Service of Ukraine turned out to be among the militants, pardoned and exchanged at the end of December 2017 as Donetsk News Agency reported.
‘Unfortunately, not all former prisoners were checked. 15 people that we exchange are the agents of the SBU’, Zakharchenko claimed.
As we reported earlier, the last big exchange of prisoners took place in Donbas on Dec. 27. Then, 73 Ukrainians were released in exchange for 233 militants. The parties discussed the possibility of the next one and submitted the lists of individuals on Jan. 18 in Minsk.
