14 of released Ukrainian hostages are suspected in desertion

14 persons of the recently released Ukrainian hostages are suspected in the desertion and the criminal proceedings are opened against them due to the willfully leaving of the units. Yury Biryukov, the presidential affiliate reported this at Facebook.

'All services, ministries, groups and so on were acutely aware that there are so-called 'heroes' among 73 released Ukrainians. Precisely, there are 14 people and the criminal proceedings are opened against them due to the willfully leaving of the units', Biryukov claimed.

He reported that it was planned to deliver these military to Kyiv separately but they did not succeed due to the weather conditions.

Also, it was decided to not hinder their relatives to meet with the released.

''The payment of the single time financial aid is not concerned these 14 people until the final decision of the court', he added.

Biryukov also noted that the Ukrainian side aims to release all hostages regardless the conditions and possible faults made by them.
