1,358 people were detained at the checkpoints, 415 of them – under the suspicion of participation in the illegal armed formations since the beginning of the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas, as Serhiy Nayev, Joint Forces Commander, said at the briefing broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

“In total, the National Guard and National Police have inspected around 4,200 000 citizens and over 2,800 000 vehicles during the Joint Forces Operation,” he said.

Thanks to the work of the structural and territorial units of Donetsk and Luhansk regions the number of felonies and very serious offenses were reduced. The number of intentional homicides was decreased by 28%, the number of armed assaults – by 23% and robberies – by 14%. The amount of solved intentional homicides increased by 88%, serious injuries – by 95%, armed assaults – by 83%, robberies – by 77%.

As it was reported earlier, around 24 square kilometers of the territory was returned to Ukraine within a year of the Joint Forces Operation without violations of Minsk Agreements.
