130,000 law enforcers to maintain public order on election day in Ukraine

The number includes more than 5,000 students and professors from military-grade colleges

More than 130,000 police agents, National Guards and other law enforcers will be called for maintaining order during the presidential elections in Ukraine. The fighters are already training for the mission, the Interior Ministry's press office reports.

'That [the number] includes 69,230 law enforcers from the National Police, 8,133 from the State Border Guard, 7,688 fighters of the National Guard, 39,361 rescue team members, 1,857 workers of the State Migration Service and 5,276 people from the military-grade colleges', reads the message.

Currently, all units train to act in the wide variety of possible emergency scenarios during the election process. These possible scenarios include chances of violations in the course of elections. 

Besides, agents of fire rescue service will be on duty on the election day, which is slated for March 31. 

The on-duty units will start working on the polling stations across Ukraine on March 21.
