Because of the damage of the gas pipeline in Donetsk region, Avdiivka and villages located nearby are left without gas supply, in total it’s about 13,000 consumers. This was announced by the head of the Avdiivka military civil administration Pavlo Malykhin on air 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"The main gas pipeline was damaged. In fact, not only Avdiivka suffers from gas shortage, but also the surrounding villages. In total, about 13,000 consumers are now without gas. It is a main pipeline, everyone is ready to start repair work on it, but the main valve is on the side of the militants and they do not give us any guarantee that this valve will be opened at any time, therefore, workers cannot start works to eliminate this damage, "he said.
Earlier it was reported that Russian side provided ceasefire regime guarantees for power line repair near Avdiivka. Works will be carried out on June 6 and 7.
