From 12,800 up to 13,000 people died since the beginning of Donbas Conflict in April 2014 until the end of 2018 according to UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission as DW reported.
“About 3,300 of deceased in Donbas were civilians; 4,000 people were soldiers of Ukraine's Armed Forces; 5,500 people are militants backed by Russia,” the message said.
From 27,000 up to 30,000 people were injured during the armed Donbas Conflict.
Earlier UN stated that over 3.8 million citizens of Ukraine living in the eastern regions, where the Joint Forces Operation takes place, need humanitarian aid.
As we reported over three months, from August 16 to November 15, 14 civilians died in combat actions in eastern Ukraine. 36 more were injured.
On January 21, the pro-Russian militants violated the ceasefire regime once in Donbas Conflict zone. No Ukrainian soldier sustained injuries due to the illicit activity of the pro-Kremlin occupants.
