In Donbas, on January 7 and January 8, 130 violations of the ceasefire regime were observed as the OSCE SMM in Ukraine reported.
Particularly, in Donetsk region, on January 8, the mission spotted 13 violations of the ceasefire regime (the explosions of uncertain origin); 10 of them took place near Donetsk Filtration Station.
On January 7, 32 such violations were observed in Donetsk region.
In Luhansk region, the SMM spotted 23 violations of the ceasefire regime, particularly, nine explosions of uncertain origin south-west from Popasna (controlled by Ukraine; 69 km from Luhansk) and 14 shots from the unidentified armament at the firing range near Shymshynivka (uncontrolled by Ukraine; 27 south-west from Luhansk) that were estimated as battle shooting drills out of the safety zone.
On January 7, in Luhansk region, 62 violations of the ceasefire regime were observed.
As we reported, on January 8, the militants in Donbas violated the “silence regime” seven times and used weapons of prohibited calibers.
