The 128th Detached Mountain Assault Brigade confirmed that one of their servicemen is actually captured by the pro-Kremlin militants. His name is Andriy Kachynsky who went missing in the combat area in Donbas in the small hours of December 29. The brigade's HQ reported that on Facebook.

'Yes, it is actually the serviceman from our brigade', reads the message.

Commenting on the video with Kachynsky revealing his personal information, the brigade HQ said: 'We understand that the testimony was provided under pressure; we do not blame him for that. Besides, we stress he cannot be held responsible for his words'. 

The command of the 128th Detached Mountain Assault Brigade reported that the unit provides every possible sort of assistance for Kachynsky's return as soon as possible. The international organizations are involved.
